  1. Having several math/computer/nerds, this is a lovely perfect comic for them, and me. Awesome.

  2. Love it. But did satisfaction bring these cats back?

  3. Hi River,

Curiosity has almost killed two of my cats:

I found one in the dishwasher once and the other leapt into the fridge.

I keep the washing machine door closed.

    :-)

    Cheers

  4. Awww! Poor little cats....perhaps they are just napping as they are exhausted from all the thinking they were doing...one can only hope.

  5. Susan Kane; I hope they all appreciate it as much as you did.

Elephant's Child; none of the problems have been solved, so I'd guess not.

    Delores; very cute.

Merle; they should have stuck to catnip and running around after shiny things.

Plasman; wise decision, that extra fluff cycle could turn them into fluffballs.

    Vicki; for the cats sure.

Mimsie; we can hope, but the quote does say "curiosity killed the cat"

  6. @Kymbo; I'm unable to leave a comment on your blog, a drop down window says "Hey, You're on my banned list!"

  7. I keep telling my two that they'll give not only themselves a heart attack, but me, too. They jump at their shadow sometimes! I laughed and laughed yesterday...one of of them was miles away in his own little world of whatever cat thoughts he was having...or cat fantasy, when I said something to him...he nearly jumped out of his skin! lol

And, of course, he looked at me in disgust...they hate being the subject of laughter! ;)

  8. Lee; my daughter has an older cat, I think she is 14-15 by now, the cat I mean and when she is deep in thought or asleep you don't dare disturb her, she wakes up in attack mode. The one time I woke her, I used half a jumbo packet of bandaids on my arms and hands. She's fine with most other things, but shaking open a garbage bag spooks the heck out of her and she takes off like a rocket.

  9. But what about Schrödinger's cat? :-)

When I've watched cats trying to satisfy their curiousity, I often think that it's just as well that they have those nine lives.

  10. LOL.

And lefsa? Mmmm. Norwegian goodness, best served with a bit of butter and a sprinkling of sugar, although some use it as a "wrap" for sandwiches...
