  2. Elephant's Child; if only more people listened to their doctors. Then again my doctor put on a lot more weight than I did in the years I went to that clinic.

Merle; I think you're safe if you don't eat MacDonalds for every meal every day.

  3. I must be the last person on the planet to have never eaten at MacDonalds. The awful smell always put me off even approaching the place, plus they never seved anything that I particularly wanted to eat. I could never understand why they were so popular, but then it's not unusual that I'm out of step with popular opinion :-)

  5. I have only had one McDonalds ever...and I've only ever had three tries at KFC...the third time was back in 1996...and I threw it away after the first bite. Yuck!

I can't be bothered waiting around for fast food...so I very rarely have it.

A good hamburger made by a privately-owned little take-away business can be very tasty indeed. There's a good little fish & chip shop here where I live...and their f & Cs are great as are their burgers; but in saying that, it's almost 2 years since I've had a feed of their fish & chips (I'm going to have to break that drought soon, I think); and I've not had one of their burgers in years...that might have to change soon, too...now that the seed has been planted!!

  6. Vicki; makes you think indeed.

Marie; I'm sure there must be at least one other somewhere. I haven't eaten their stuff for years now.

Delores; no, don't love them. Give me a homemade burger and fries any day. Much tastier.

Lee; I've never found KFC to be nice. I remember burger shops from when I was young, before MacDonald's came on the scene. Going in and ordering a burger-with-the-lot, watching as they cooked the patty, added fresh salad to the bun, it was almost a complete meal. Filling and tasty. F&C too. These days there are still good fish'n'chip shops around, so why go to Macca's for a fish burger?

  7. m m m m Very good advice. We only once had McDonalds and that once was enough for us. Just didn't enjoy it one bit. T'W was years ago when the 3 granddaughters were quite young and they are now all 35+.
